about

Early in the planning stages my friend Carl Grimm (a.k.a. Artocatos Taranicnos) asked me to write and record something he could use as theme music for Gaulcast -- his awesome podcast dedicated to Gaulish Polytheism (as far as we know the first on the topic!). So, I am proud and honored to present "Â Elu̯êtiâ U̯indomârâ (O Beloved Helvetia)"!

Shortly after, I showed Carl some examples of my attempts to somewhat replicate the sound of a carnyx (Celtic war/ritual brass instrument) with synth trombone sounds and he thought it would be cool to combine that with raven sounds to use as a transition between segments.

You can find Gaulcast pretty much anywhere you listen to podcasts, or you can check them out on Facebook here: www.facebook.com/GaulCast/
